Studio Policies
Fees
Tuition is pro-rated on a monthly basis and is due at the first lesson of the month. Either mailing tuition payments or paying online through your account on my website: www.watsonpiano.com is recommended. No statements or billings are sent. Late payment reminders will be sent over email. Tuition Payments received after the 12th of the month will be subject to a $20 late fee. Monthly tuition rates are: $80 for 30-minute lessons, $120 for 45-minute lessons, $150 for 60-minute lessons. Frequent late payments will subject the student to termination from the studio.
Attendance
Make-up lessons are not given unless a time is available during regular teaching hours. Tuition will not be adjusted for missed lessons. Students are expected to arrive promptly so that lessons can begin on time. Lessons will end on time so that others will not be inconvenienced.
Group lessons are arranged each month in place of the private lesson. You will be notified by email of the scheduled group class. If the student cannot attend, a private lesson will be arranged in its place. Every effort is made to schedule classes at a time your student can attend!
Commitment
Students are expected to commit to a full year of piano study. The limited spaces in the studio are reserved for students who are eager to learn. Parents and students should be aware that motivation will fluctuate during the year. However students who show a lack of effort risk termination from the studio.
If lessons must be discontinued for whatever reason, 30 days notice is required or tuition for one month will be charged and payable.
